many year and well on april 20, we recieved phone call that he commited suicide and our whole world stopped, then during the time when the priest was telling the kids my son confessed that he had been secretly seening his dad. We are all at a loss and shock. his girl never got to see him only now a few years later in a coffin. We have started counseling but my feeling are kinda unsure i feel like blaming myself though i was just trying to protect my kids, He tried twice suciside before when we were together and I think he talked his famliy into thinking it was my fault. Any way every thing is one day at a time. He also had a two year oldson with new wife. I just dont know.

Hello nativemom,

It is never easy when a parent hears news that their child has met his demise.

More often than not, we begin to wonder if there was something that could have been done differently and if so, he would still be alive today.

I'm here to tell you that there may have been disagreements and misunderstandings but you should not blame yourself for his actions.

You did the best that you could with an awkward situation.

Certain family members can easily be influenced by others and all it takes is one side of the story; unfair but nonetheless true.

Please continue the family therapy and know that not only your son but also your family will be in my prayers.

Take care.

Phoenix
