When I was at the Specialist last week, he told me there were things I could do to help with this and that the nurse would tell me... Well, the nurse and I got onto other things and it was never addressed, so before calling her, I was wondering if any of you guys have ideas?

Probably Kegal exercises....my neurologist, Gynecologist and MS specialist are all telling me that they seriously help both bladder emptying as welll as bladder control....only thing is they want me to do sets of 15, like 5 times a day. I never remember to do them! Thats the only thing I can think of that they were going to discuss with you...give them a call and find out! You can ask for the nurse, not the doctor and probably get a few minutes of her time.
Good luck and let us know if you learn anything really different!

I'm not a Kegal expert (but I'm also not new to the exercises) but as I understand, you can do these wherever you want at any time (ie: sitting in front of the pc, on the bus, walking around a shopping mall). I can definitely agree with the 'forgetting' bit. Could always paste a sticky note somewhere where you're apt to see it often (mine would be at my computer!).
