Hi all, does the sedating effects of Seroquel ever lessen or go away with time, and if so, how long does it take to feel less daytime tiredness? Thanks.

Toco,
I'm on 450mg Seroquel at night, I've been on Seroquel for 5 months now and it still helps me sleep at night, I don't have any drowsiness during the day though, it's pretty much worn off by the time I get up. Are you taking it at night?

Yes, I take it at night. Last night I upped my Seroquel from 300 to 400 after seeing my pdoc yesterday and it wiped me out, I felt like I was drunk. The weird thing is I didn't feel anything going from 100 to 300 mg. I have tried several meds over the past ten years and I don't remember any of them not making me tired and sleepy during the day, most likely the cause is from my sleep apnea and insomnia. Thanks.
