Is there a cheap insurance plan that would pay for valtrex? I checked on the cost and for a twenty one day supply it would cost me one hundred and sixty dollars.

Valtrex seems to be running about $5 per pill. Check around though, pharmacy prices vary by a surprising amount. I'm lucky, my health insurance pays most of the cost, I only pay the copay, which is still $30 for a one month supply.
There are some Canadian pharmacies online that are quite a bit cheaper, you might check them out.
The good news is -- I've been on Valtrex as suppressive therapy, no OBs for four months!!

You also might want to check with the makers of the antiviral drugs, as they often have a program to help people with low incomes, for a limited time. It's not a long-term answer but it could help for a while.
