Hi,
I've been diagnosed with medial epicondylitis, was sent to a nerve specialist for a study which involved placing needles in various areas of the arm and sending electro pulses through them, measuring the arm, etc.
A few days later I've developed a lot more pain in the forearm, elbow, and a numb pinky and ring finger to round things off. Could this be the result of the nerve study by any chance?
I'm going back in to see the Neurologist next week, but in the meantime looks like I'll have to put up with more pain than what I had before in the arm.
Just wondering if anyone has has a similar experience.
Thanks for the input!

Hi Northwest.
I know you wrote a while ago, but hope this still helps. Numbness and tingling and pain in the ring and pinkie is the symptom of cubital tunnel syndrome. I wonder if it is too late to ask about this with the neurologist?
Maybe you could do a web search and learn more about it. Has to do with nerve in the funny bone area being over used.
Good luck,
Paddy

Thanks Paddy,
We tried a cortisone shot and it's done the trick. Feeling back, no numbness. Been over a month now with no problems as I wanted to do this as a secondary measure before surgery. Feels like it worked.
