When my numbers are high i get very depressed and find myself bawling for no reason. Could someone explain why this happens. (Type 2 diabetic, not on insulin)

Changes in blood glucose, both high and low can have an effect on your moods. Most commonly, when people experience high blood sugar they are very grouchy. Some times when I get low, I either get irritable and don't give a damn what other people are saying, or a get over emotional and cry. As for the cause? It's not well understood why blood sugar causes mood swings, only that it seems to happen in almost all people with high or low blood sugar. Just know you aren't alone, and do your best to keep those numbers in range.
