I've heard of the condition. How is it being treated?

My daughter was diagnosed with this 2 years ago-she was 18 yrs old. Her pseudo tumor was due to the minocycline she was taking for acne. She developed severe migraines before the diagonsis of pseudo tumor. She was sent to a neurologist who ordered a spinal tap to remove some of the excess spinal fluid. She was also put on diamox-a diuretic-which she hated taking. Eventually she was referred to a neuro-opthamologist who continued the diamox for a bit. My daughter no longer has the swelling on her optic nerve. Since hers was due to the medicine, the drs. felt that the swelling would go away. Fortunately for us her time with pseudo tumor was relatively brief. I hope you can find some relief with your symptoms. MJ
