I posted a bulletin a few days ago about head pain and such. Well for the past two days I have been having more severe seizures. Although I cant really specify what category they are, I just need to know if anyone out there has experienced what is happening to me, just for reassurance :) (I get a bit Scared about these things I don't want to feel alone)
For the past two day I have had 2 seizures a day at random times. Before I would just feel weird all day with the deja vu and hallucinations, but now I am finding that when I have a seizure My legs and arms freeze and I cant move them at all. I cant process what people say to me and I stare off until its over. But I'm confused because I cant find anything about locking up in a seizure. My arms and legs lock into whatever position they are in, and I cant find information on it. Any help would make me feel a little more sane and much appreciated :)

I sort of know what you are talking about. I know when a sez is comming on I will have feelings were the room just dosen't look right to me. The furnature just dosen't seem like it should be and the pictures and things that are on the mantle just aren't right.
I also have had the body freezing too. I would just keep doing the same thing that I was doing before I had the sez. One time I was doing a crossword puzzle and just kept doing it, scribbling all over the page. Once I was pushing a shopping cart and just kept pushing it through the parking lot. I had a death grip on the cart too. They had to pry it out of my hands. But I'll just keep doing the same thing that I was doing last before I went into the sez.
Sometimes I'll just be out of it and do nothing.
Sometimes I'll drool and mumble, but this is usually when I will start to come out of it I didn't know I even had one and I would get horrible migrane headaches that lasted forever.
I have had sezs where I was just staring at the wall and some times before I go into one I will get the deja vu feeling too.
The neuro gave me a VNS implant and it gave me less sezs and the ones that I do have aren't nearly as bad as the others that I used to. But I still have those feelings that you were talking about before I have one.
Hope this helps you a little.

I have had a couple I guess different seizures one was when I was almost asleep cant really remember it much but it was like my head was just vibrating like crazy and the stars (since I was outside with a girlfriend) dissapeared and I dont know just felt like I was shaking apart from the inside. Another one I was in a car and my body locked up and I felt like I was twisted around looking out the back window and I couldnt move or say anything and I thought I saw my ex wife and her father in another car. My friend didnt notice anything and it only lasted a few moments but it seemed like it took forever and I didnt lose consciousness and I was more or less myself rather quickly after that. I felt imprisoned in a vise. I havnt had another experience like that but it was more scary than having my normal grand mals and waking up a cple hours later. It was a rather frightening experience I am glad I wasnt driving that day.

Hiya, My nan has seizures similar to you, she always feels 'funny' just before then her whole body freezes the only thing she can do is hear and blink, so i ask her if she is ok and she blinks to me. The first thing that she can feel/move is her hands then mouth and so on. She said it makes her feel awful for days. I hope this makes you feel better, knowing you're not the only one who has this type of seizures.:)

Hi, I know exactly what you mean. This is the type of feelings i get. The de-ja-vue etc. I also feel as though i am on the outside of what is happening looking in. If the radio is on the speaker sounds familiar and it's as though i am in the radio. I have a couple of these a day every 2-3 wks. They have been getting more regular. When i'm at work my collegues just leave me to it as i go into a spasm and cannot talk, this lasts for about a minute then i carry on as normal. I usually cant' communicate by speach for about 10 mins or so. It also takes it out of me for the rest of the day. Has anyone been given a name/type to this type of feeling? Or medication. My neuro surgeon says that all my tests show negative and i don't have epilepsy. What i have i don't know. This thread has helped me loads as i now know i am not the only one and am not going mad

Also my neuro had a test done on me where I stayed in the hospital for a week with probes stuck to my head.
I had a button to push every time I felt that I had a sez comming on so that I would realize what it would like because I didn't actually know at the time.
This helped alot. I now pretty much know when one is comming on so I know to make sure I'm not doing anything that could hurt me or some one else. I'll just go and sit down until the feeling goes away.
