Last saturday i started getting signs that i maybe had a yeast infection. u know the usual, itching, cottage-cheese like discharge. and i had sex right b 4 i got signs of my "yeast infection" I used a different condom than usual too.... around the following tuesday, the skin around my vagina became painfully irritated. so i took a look and i seen little red sores where it hurt. i didn't see any blisters or anything just sores... it burns really bad when i pee. it doesn't hurt as much as when i pee, but i have difficulty sitting and walking....
does this sound like herpes. or could this b me reaching to the condom that i used, or could it b from the yeast infection(i also scratched). I only have one sexual parner which is my boyfriend, he's the only one i ever been with. i know it doesn't mean anything but he doesn't have any symptoms, and we're very open when it comes to things like this. we almost always had protected sex. the last time we had unprotected sex was about 2-3 months ago....

Philly, I strongly recommend you go to a doctor ASAP. I initially did not have blisters either, however it was extremely painful, difficult to walk, and the irritation was unbelievable. I have been living with the big "H" for almost 5 years. Everyone has different symptons, not all develop blisters, some experience flu-like symptoms. Yes, you could have a yeast infection, that was what I was praying for too..... but it turned out to be much more. Please don't delay going to find out what is wrong, you could shorten your symptons with a proper diagnosis and treatment. You will be in my thoughts and prayers that you have not joined the club, but if that is the case, please know you can still live a very fulfilling life. Take care and let us know how things turn up.
