First post so bear with me....

About 2 weeks ago I smashed my shin pretty good, my foot turned a little black and blue but that went away. My problem now is that the front of my shin seems to have something over it now where the injury occurred. I can push down on the skin and cause a dent in my skin and when I wear my socks it causes a dent in the area over my shin. It takes about 5 minuites or so for the dent to go away bit it does go away. The anamolly is only on the area that was injured. There is no real pain with it, but the whole dent thing has me a little concerned. Any help is appreciated

Have you had an xray yet? My ankle and foot turned bruised after an injury. The pain wasn't that bad just real swollen and it turned out to be broken. I hope you don't have a broken shin but it might be a good idea to see your doctor.
