4 years ago, I had ACDF C6-7 for a complete rupture. The 2 discs above had mil herniations so nothing was done with those. I felt so good for about a year but was very cautious to not over do it. Well, the good times came to an end starting with difficulty sleeping, waking up in pain & spasms, going through several new mattresses to no avail. I started seeing a Pain Doc and he told me that I was very arthitic in my C-Spine. He did facet injections at 4 levels. The first three times, I got great relief, this last time I waited longer and unfortunately have gotten no relief.

Tipping my head back, turning to the right and tipping to either side is very painful. I think I am just really "tight" but I can't seem to get it to loosen up. I am in the midst of changing jobs so the can't go to the PD, but I am wondering if this is just pain that I will have to live with for the rest of my life or if I could be breaking down another level. The pain I have now is different than 4 years go. The top and back of might right shoulder, side of right arm almost to tricep, and top(hairy side) of my forearm have this "toothache" sensation that gets worse with exhertion.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions to try to relieve this pain?
