Hi, I often get this sharp pain in my lower left chest. It begins with me feeling hot and having difficulties breathing. I want to give in and just fall because the pain is so sharp. Nothing I do helps the pain go away. I have tried laying down, sitting and I have even walked to try to calm down but nothing seems to help.

About 2 weeks ago I was having dinner and all of a sudden I felt a pain on my chest. At that time I got up and went outside to walk around the yard, well it got worse. My husband gave me two Motrins, which made it worse. I got to the point where I couldn't breath. It started to hurt so bad I wanted to scream so I went to the bathroom and made myself purge. That kind of helped ease the pain but it wasn't until an hour later that it started going away.

In addition, this weekend after having breakfast I went shopping, and while at the store I started feeling a sharp pain on my chest once more. I felt hot and then I felt as if I couldn't breath , the deeper I took breath's the more sharper the pain feels.

Can someone provide me with a solution to this disorder. I can't continue to live like this, I have babies to care for.

I would go to the ER right now. I wouldn't take a chance that it wasn't anything severe. It's just not worth the risk.

I get SOB attacks but never accompanied by any pain at all. My dad gets angina and this sounds similiar, but until you get a proper diagnosis you wont know. I would definetely get a Doctor to do an ecg and maybe an excercise stress test too. Do you have any history of any heart problems or angina in your family?

I would definatly go to the ER and be checked out. I would not chance it.
