i have a herniated disk c5c6 and want to have surgery but not the fusion type..i have read about the minimally invasive cervical endoscopic discectomy and would like to go that route..however no doctors in my area offer this procedure but offer anterior cervical discectomy without fusion..are these two operations similar??thanks for your help

not sure of the difference. You may want to read the article I ref'd in last post.(fusion..c-5,c-6,c-7).
Explains alot..as I stated though, can get technical.
