My son (17) has been diagnosed with Serpiginous Choroiditis.
Originally it was thought to be AMPPE which is supposed to be of short duration after which patients almost always make a full recovery.
He is being treated with immunosuppressants to control the formation of the lesions on his retina. We have been told that it is extremely rare and that most opthamologists have never treated anyone with it.
Anyone out there with this ?
