Okay here's my story short, I've been applying for my dream joy for more than a year, and now I got accepted... I have to go to a training( I had some university classes as part of the initial training) and this training is in the US, i've never studying or lived in the US before so this gives me anxiety to start, also I need to live in this city for 2 months and then I'm moving far away for this new job(HI).
My main anxiety is: FAILING IN THE TRAINING BECAUSE I WON'T BE ABLE TO COPE WITH ANXIETY... especially- insomnia, can't study for my training <BECAUSE> nervousness, going crazy, diarrhea, no menses,.... homesickness(mom,dad)... I'm recently married and my hubby will be with me all this time.
before I had some anxiety related to this job, when I took a hiring test , I had bad anxiety, couldn't sleep the whole night, breathing, racy thoughts, crazy!!
Please Please help people, you don't know how helpful your opinions mean to me!

Have a little faith in yourself. You at too focused on the "what if's" and what you need to focus on this the great opportunity for you. Dream job, oh how I would love one. I've been working in the same field for 30 yrs and loathe it now.
Sorry to get off track. Obviously you have great potential or you wouldn't have gotten in.
Think of this as an adventure. It's great your husband can come with you. Study, anything you can find out about the company, employees, etc. You KNOW you are qualified and so do they ones that hired you.
If you really think your anxiety is going to hinder this opportunity for you, maybe you should talk to your doctor about some short term anxiety medicine.
Best wishes,
JB

The thing about meds it's that you can't use any type of mental(benzos, AD, betablockers..) medications and I really don't want to depend on that, I wan't to do this on my own.

Well you did get hired in spite of yourself and all that anxiety. It is not a bad thing to be anxious ...it keeps you on your toes and alert. Give it a chance and see what happens and just keep your eye on the prize and go for it. Good luck to you. Just think you get to visit another country at company expense and that right there would be enough to go through with it.
