Every time i eat pizza or pasta, i get acid reflux, diarrhea(i cant spell), excessive gas and a really bloated feeling although I haven't eaten much. I thought it might be the wheat but i'm fine with things like bread. From what I can tell its only these two foods that really do it.
Can anyone make any suggestions? Do I have to stop eating pizza or pasta? Or is there a way to fix it?

Gluten was my first guess, but could it possibly be sauce or cheese?

I'm not sure what gluten is. And as for sauce, i don't know what in the sauces would trigger it. Its not garlic or onions, its not tomato or sugar. Because i can eat them in other foods and not have this problem. Cheese, would be linked with some kind of dairy problem, but as I don't have a problem with milk, yogurt, or any other dairy product I kind of scrapped that one off my list as well. This really has me beat.

Whit
You may be lactose intolerant. I am allergic to anything with milk in it such as cheese, ice cream, cottage cheese, etc. Lactose causes upset stomach, gas,and bloating. It would be a good idea to see your doctor and find out for sure what is wrong. Take care.

Oregano? Basil? Aged cheese (like Parmesan or Romano)?
We can guess, but since you have ruled out wheat (that's where the gluten comes in), tomatoes and dairy, it might be time for a doctor's visit and allergy testing.
Either that, or give them up (which I would hate to do).

Sometimes tomato sauce can upset the stomach where plain whole tomatoes don't, because the acid is more concentrated.

Hi Whit, I had the same problem and for me it turned out to be corn allergies -- oftentimes manufacturers use corn syrup or other corn derivatives in their products. I found that some organic or health market sauces are made with suger rather than corn syrup and that solved the problem for me. Good luck!

I am allergic to corn syrup and unfortunately it is found in ALOT of our foods. But although you say you aren't allergic to dairy sometimes you can be allergic to some kinds of dairy or specific cheeses. Like I can't have Dairy Queen soft serve icecream. I become violently ill. But once in awhile I can have a small scoop of hard icecream. Some cheeses I am fine, and the other night I had pizza with extra cheese and by morning I vomitted 5 times and had diarrhea. The only thing that came up was undiagested cheese. Gross! Sorry to be graphic. But our bodies are not meant to really digest dairy. It is known to cause diarrhea big time. I would suggest allergy testing. If I was gambling on it I would say it is cheese on the pizza. Good luck! You will figure it out. It just takes time and process of elimination.
