View Full Version : Want to try MUCINEX D but I live in the UK

I've been doing a bit of research ito my PND/cough and there's an OTC medication called MUCINEX which people say works quite well for some people and I'm wanting to give it a try but I cannot find anywhere in the uk whch sells it apart from EBAY but not sure if I want to purchase from them.Anyone know where I could get some from please.............................

You could probably get it via mail order from the U.S. - all of the online pharmacies seem to sell it but I don't know if they ship to the UK. The Mucinex brand may not be available over there but you might check around for "Guaifenesin Extended-Release Tablets" - that's the actual pharmaceutical description of Mucinex, and it may be available under another name outside the US.

yes, it is Mucinex D that is supposed to be helping. There is also a Mucinex DM that will also help.

All it is tho, is guaifenesin with an expectorant. That is all it is. But the difference is this---it is a tablet that is slow releasing so it works for 12 hours. Otherwise I don't know why everyone is saying to take it over just regular cough medicine.
