Hi, i've had so much drama trying to get pregnant, like i'm sure most of you have, so here's a quick review of what my problem was, and what seems to have helped? I get my period only once a year. I'm not sure about others suffering like this, but I noticed that when I took vitamins my period would start, or antibiotics, herbal suppliments, birth control, and again not sure how this affected other people, but even when I was put on Clomid my period started, but with all of this I never ovulated. Not even the Clomid at 125 mg could make me ovulate. My doctor was surprised when I said that my period came and that I didn't need to take provera to make my cycle start, because the Clomid shouldn't affect my periods. So anyway... Nothing was working for me, and so I finally just gave up. I'm overweight, and even though I can start losing weight by myself but after I get to about 280 I can't lose anymore. So I started going to the gym. Well don't you know it, my period started when I started working out. I missed going to the gym in Dec. and so I did not get my period in Jan. But in Jan I went to the gym, got my period in Feb...and lo and behold...got pregnant. Of course I didn't know this until April, but the joke of it is....look what kind of surprises can happen!!! :) so anyway, the bad news is I miscarried, but even though that breaks my heart, seeing as I have been trying for 10 years, it's still ok. That gives me a small spark of hope. I will be extra careful for the next 3-4 months, because my doctor told me to wait at least that long to lower the risk of another miscarriage, and see what happens.

So here's my advice...1- Quit trying! it's too stressful, and really takes the fun out of things. Enjoy your life, enjoy everything around you, and RELAX!!! :)
2- I'm not saying lose weight, because the truth is I think I MIGHT have lost 10 lbs., not much right? It doesn't need to be. There's going to be a check mark of if you're trying to get preggers or not...I put not...that's up to you. But work out, I mean I'm not saying we should all be sticks, but hey, healthy is better than not. The gym will give you a more forceful workout than doing it at home or walking around the block. There are plenty of cheap gyms...and if you have the money for all these infertility treatments i'm sure you can muster up just a little more for the gym.

So.... To all those suffering, good luck, and try it out, whatever works, you know?
