Ok, i havent seen a doc on this, but i know its about time to talk to one about issues im having and what the heck is wrong with me! Hubby tells me im bipolar(and not in a mean hurtful way)due to my odd behaviors that i really dont get im doing until later. maybe im just nuts! i go from being fine cleaning the whole house to cursing him and crying, wishing i werent alive and then fine again, its the strangest thing ive ever experienced. I do have tourettes as well, thought it could have came from that, like something people with tourettes have OCD, but im not sure theres a relation with bipolar and that. whats a good way to tell if this is something other than bad moodswings?? my marriage is failing due to my horrible behavior. and after im fine again i feel like an idiot and bad for the things ive done or said.:confused:

From what you describe you are not Bipolar however, you do need to see your mental health provider soon because you don't what your loosing control to damage your marriage more than already has...You owe it to those that have to be around you. Meanwhile, apologize to your husband for your outbursts and promise you will seek mental health care.

No one here can tell you what's wrong with you. We can offer support, though.
You're suffering and out of control, and your marriage is in danger. The sooner you get to a doctor, the better. Please do it right away.
Perhaps it would help you to find a forum on Tourette's; your symptoms could well be a part, perhaps a worsening, of that. Whatever it is, you need treatment.

No one here can diagnose you as bipolar or not. Only a psychiatrist can do that.
Read the bipolar symptom primer at the top of this forum though to get a better picture of what bipolar disorder is. A lot of people use the term so loosely nowadays.

lol i know nobody here can Dx me, but after reading the symptons and alot of research thats why i came to this...theres ALOT of the symptoms that are exactly what i feel and what happens...for yrs now im been on the depression and anxiety pills with no difference in anything. I have a appt on the 14th thats the soonest they can see me, we are in military and are assigned a doc, thats the only one we can go to without a referral =( so maybe i will take my little list i have made with me and show the doc, i think haveing to wait this long to see a doc is nuts! when i think its urgent, if i have another day of being all down and depressed sleeping too ddang much im gonna go crazy bc then im hyper and fun and its just crazy! but thanks for the advice, now i have to play the waiting game to see a doc =(
