View Full Version : what about losing blood to help

I have read that women have a better recovery rate than men. It could be "lifestyles" in general, but I also thought it could be that they loose blood every month and then the body makes new blood. So would it maybe help if a person with HCV draws a pint of blood out his body every month. So when the body makes more blood the viral load should decrease as the blood will be "diluted". Does anyone know if this has been tried and tested?
