My hubby and I have been TTC since October. I've taken 4 treatments of clomid, 50mg and this last time even got a shot, but I don't know what it was, to help me ovulate. Every month we see eggs growing, but nothing happens. I also have a thyroid problem and history or endometriosis. The gyn is baffled and has ordered a lap for me to do. This will be my third one since 1999. I am so sad about it. I had one son in 2000 from taking clomid but had him on the 3rd try. No luck. I am thinking of trying to have my hubby retested to see if it's him. But I really think it's me. I mean the past two cycles I've had, I've had to induce with hormones to FORCE AF out of me!! I'm waiting for it now so I can schedule my lap. I'm just so scared to do it again and I wonder why I just can't have a baby!! You see all those people out there who don't deserve one or shouldn't have one, or don't want one, and it just makes me crazy. Anyone else experience this kind of thing?

Do you have a regular AF, with no ovulation? Or do you not have an AF as well? The reason I ask is that I went of off the pill over 6 months ago and have only had one AF.
Just wondering what your doctor has given you to induce your AF?

H19 I was giving provera to induce AF.
Jinx...... Have you tried taking your temp to see if you are O'ing? If you know for sure your not then that is something your doctor can go on. If you are then it may be time for your Dh to be retested. Right now not knowing for sure one way or the other if the clomid is working the dr is kinda lost and just hoping to get lucky and find something that could be the problem.
If you do O and Dh is good I would say give clomid another few months and then talk to the dr about IUI.
I hope this helps some. I know the feeling all to well of TTC and seeing or hearing about other women that is pg. I still feel so out of place on the pregnancy board I feel so at home here in TTC.
Good luck if I can help you in anyway please let me know I will tell you anything that helped me and what didn't. After 7 years of TTC I should be a pro ;)

Hi. I was away for a few days, sorry. But I m taking medicine called primolut, that is a german name, since I am in Germany, to induce my period. I know it's hormones, but I don't know which one. You may know which hormone initiates AF? My AF is not normal. It is more regular when taking clomid, but when I stop taking the clomid, no AF without this medicine.
I have to look and see what DH is, but the reason we are using clomid is bec that is how I had my first son 7 years ago. But, I have a history of endometriosis so he doesn't want to continue treatment without checking if that is what is stopping me from conceiving. I tried checking my temp and it gave no clue. It was always high and I was never pregnant, so that didn't work. I have a thyroid problem as well, so my temp is off I think.
Still waiting for AF. Took these pills last on Saturday, waiting to see what happens!

Hello all,
I am brand new to this message board and found it because I experienced a unique symptom a few hours ago and hopped online to researh it. My DH and I have been trying TTC since since last August. Very active and healthy 26 and 27 year olds. However, becaues we both travel for our jobs, our BD wasn't as active as it could have been up until the pat 2 months. I also hadn't been charting or anything like that. This past month, I tried relying on CM. We did a lot of BD'ing when I had the clear, wet sluippery CM. My cycle is anywhere from 26-29 days so it is not easy to predict... i also think i have irregular ovulation... but i BELIEVE this time we targeted it right (because of the CM). However, when we came home from brunch today, I noticed what looked like a light period in my panties. it was a light brown color... not very much. I am not due for AF until mid to later on this week - and according to my CM, I just ovulated last week... I put in a tampon and just checked it and it was a little heavier but not like a period heavy... I got online and started looking into all of this and came across impantation bleeding, which apparently can last for 24-48 hours and comes BEFORE your period... so I am just confused and searching for answers... This board seems so helpful, positive and supportive so I thought I would give it a whirl! I am lost and would love to hear feedback fro mall of you!
Happy Mothers Day to us all!!!

H19..........I don't know if the pills they give you there causes server moods swings or not but Provera made me crazy but it could of been the mix between clomid
cd3-9 and provera starting on cd28. Either way I just wanted to give you fair warning on what to look forward to.
Jinx..........When will the dr check the endometriosis? when you take the clomid do they get you to come in for blood work on cd 21 to see if you O'ed or not?

tami... i have to wait for my period before they will do lap. Hopefully soon. I have a cyst and it hurts. I will call tomorrow and see if I absolutely have to have my period first. That wasn't the procedure in the states! And when I did clomid, I went in to check if I ovulated by ultrasound, not bloodwork. It wasn't sure fire, but it was a good way. we always see the eggs growing, but then nothing happens. I'm not sure what happens.
I am calling tomorrow! I am in so much pain!
