Hi everyone! I hadn't had a period for 3 months so my Dr ordered blood tests. Of course the next day I started :( Went ahead and had blood drawn but didn't get it done till the next week. Nurse just gave me results over the phone. I will be seeing the Dr to discuss the results but thought I would ask if any of you know what these results mean. It would of been day 5 of my cycle.
LH 15
FSH 20
Estrogen 137
I am almost 48 and have been experiencing peri symptoms for at least 3 years now. Are these results still "normal"?

Mine had changed for years & a blood test said not starting
the change yet.But when discussed everything with regular
doctor(male) he said of course you must be with such drastic
changes.I was having periods every 2 months or longer &
I had an excess bleeding problem(nearly ended up in hospital),
my periods had got weird & a worry.
Anyway I tract things back to around 30 yrs old I'd begun
drastic changes.Dr stuck me on the pill (tubes tied) to even everything out regular periods & less hassles re excess.He said
I probably won't get periods soon because of the years that
have passed.Now at 41 I have regular periods,had only one/two
times of excess bleeding & don't take the pill.So much for no
periods soon.....he told me that about 2-3 yrs ago.I had begun
the hot flushes & other symptoms about 4-5 yrs ago roughly
but things had changed many years before.
If you aren't having any other symptoms from the delayed
periods be glad they're every few months.
