Constant Pulsating headaches, ear pain, facial spasms

1.C3-4 = Mild posterior spurring is present on the left. Uncovertebral joint spurring is present on the left with mild foraminal narrowing.

2. C5-6= Mild posterior spurring is present at this level to the right .

3. C6-7= Posterior spurring is present at this level bilaterally, more prominent on the left than the right. this intents the thecal sac, but does not produce spinal stenosis or cord narrowing. Mild uncovertebral joint spurring is present on the left producing mild foraminal narrowing.

Thats it. Seeing a neuro sx on Wed but would like some idea what if anything this means.

Thank you.

Your MRI isn't that bad, but that doesn't mean your neck isn't causing you problems. We have seen many people with mild things going on in the neck that have significant pain and stuff - it really is individual.

It could also be the radiologist that read your report wasn't too thorough and your NS will take a good look and give his own opinion.

You will probably have some conservative therapy like rest, maybe steroids, PT and a followup in about 4-6 weeks.

Come back with your results of your appt.

Thank you, I have been having PT and now osteopathic treatments for two years. I am also being treated for tmj and my bite is way off. It just feels like a nerve is pinched back there somewhere and makes my head pulsate. Will post on what the NS says.
