Wow ,this more days clean than ive had in 35years !
The wife and i are going to meetings evryday, we both have sponsors, are seeing Psycologists and most importantly there is NO desire to USE.

This i believe is FINALLY my time.

There was a time ( not so long ago ) that i thought i might never be able stop USING and i now have hope and 15 days clean.

I smile and laugh genuinely.I feel good physically and mentally our bills are getting paid ( Instead of my DEALER ) we buy food instead of DRUGS.

I could go on and on about how good life is getting but instead im going to say THANK GOD, N/A , YOU FOLKS and MY WIFE, i could never have done this alone. I tried that many many times.

Godbless,Acaptain

You are doing a great job, 15 days is wonderful. I also had a point in which I thought I could never quit but I have been clean since april 15th. It is a wonderful feeling huh. I wish the best to you and your wife, you are both doing amazingly. Lindsay

Hello acaptainn,

It is always good news to know that another has embarked on the road to recovery.

At this point, may I suggest that you place on the proverbial seat belt because you may be in for a bumpy ride now and then and want to remain safe at all times.

In recovery, we have our days ranging from outstanding to "aargh!!!"

Here's to hoping that you experience more smooth roads than rough terrain.

Respectfully,

Phoenix

I'd consider it more like anniversaries.

We celebrate and rejoice in the good ones and mourn the bad ones. That's life. Sometimes we need to count to celebrate - give yourself a well deserved pat on the back

Keep on counting;)

JB

Note - my response was to a negative comment about counting days which must have been removed by mod
