Noone Accepts You When You Are Bi Polar Or Have Depression. We Are Different And We Dont Fit In. Its Hard To Keep A Job Or Dress Right To Fit In For Church. We Are More Intelligent Or Artistic Or Creative And People Dont Accept Right Down To Children. I Am Not Paranoid I Live It I Watch It. I Listen To Comments From Preachers. I Know. So Where Do We Go We Live Lonely Lives. My Own Mother Calls Me Crazy, She Is Untreated. I Watch My 14 Year Old Grandson He Is Quiet Intelligent And Very Cute, But They Call Him Froto At School He Has Anxiety So Bad And Is Bi Polar. He Is Such A Good Kid. He Will Fail This Year Because The Adminstration Did Not Honor The Iep And We Kept Him Out Of School So He Wouldnt Be Beaten Up They Did Not Provide The School Work Or Any Of The Recommendations Of The Iep. So I Am Just Fed Up With The World. Deborah Clark

Yes, it is very hard. It is hard when the world has so many expectations, and meeting them is impossible when suffering depression and the mental illnesses. I wish there was more tolerance of the range of people. I guess it is different in different areas, some places are better for us than others. Where I live, I don't feel much acceptance. I mostly stay by myself. But I still try and think positive. Maybe there will be better things coming along. I hope for you too.
