I had a temporal lobe dissection about 7 years ago and have been seizure free since then. They removed a benign mass. I began having migraines, a constant headache, and stabbing pains all in the left side.
I recently had an MRI and looked at the scans and saw a lesion on the side where the mass was. My question is: when a mass is removed, how does that present in MRI?? Am I seeing a lesion or just the empty space where my brain once was?
I slightly frieking out as these are the initial symptons that began prior to my seizures. My follow-up appt with my new nuerologist isn't for another 2 weeks and I can't deal with the waiting. I just don't want to go thru the whole thing again.
