Im not sure what I have. I all of a sudden seen this red bump around my vagina. I have no idea what it is. I only had one, then it turned into 2, and now 3.
Im going insane over here. I have been having sex with my bf for about 4 months now, but just now i got them. Can I get herpes after this long of having sex with him? or is this something else?

I'm sorry you're going through this and so worried about it. I think you should get your doc to look at it ASAP, before they heal too much to test. I'm sorry to say that it *is* possible for you to have been having sex for 4 months and only getting it now. It's also possible for your bf to have it and not show symptoms. Most people who have genital herpes don't know it. It's also possible to get it by receiving oral sex, if your partner has oral herpes (cold sores), even without symptoms.

I don't want to scare you but I'd strongly recommend you get in to see your doc this week and get him/her to do a swab culture on the sores. It might be something minor and easily curable, but if it's herpes you both need to know this. The sooner you get tested the better the chance that the results will be accurate. Unfortunately the swab tests aren't always accurate, and should be done as soon after the appearance of a sore as possible; ideally within 24-48 hours.
