Hello! :wave::
I am 25 and have been ttc for 2 years. We are dealing with Male factor infertility. Last month was our first fresh IVF cycle. It ended in a chemical pregnancy. My dr. said that since I had produced so many eggs (37) it probally messed up my hormones and therefore my cycle. We had 12 embies left in the freezer so decided to do a FET this cycle. I am having a harder time finding information on these. It was so much easier though! I have been on estrodol pills for about 2 weeks and started PIO shots last Thursday. They unthawed all 12 of my embies (which kinda ticked me off) but only 1 ended up being viable for transfer. This seemed strange as the day before Transfer I had 8 in culture that were code 1. Oh well, I guess she is the dr. and knew what was going on. So yesterday we transfered 1 perfect embie. I am praying so hard that this works. I know if it doesnt it will be at least 1 year before we can start again due to the cost of a fresh cycle. That bums me out. I have taken the rest of the week off to relax and try to stay stress free. I dont want anything to mess this up. How soon do you suppose I can take a HPT? My RE said yesterday that implantation should occur that day. I go in for Beta on Wednesday, but I dont want to wait!!! UGH this drives me crazy!!

Anyway, I guess I am looking for some wisdom and success stories from the ladies on this board. I look forward to getting to know each of you and wish you all tons of baby dust!!

I certainly know how hard the waiting can be, unfortunately i dont have any advice to give you because we have not moved to ivf as of yet. But i can certainly offer you my prayers and hope for :angel:a blessing when you get your beta test on wednesday.

Hi Mel and welcome, I too have just done my 1st IVF but mine ended up being cancelled after E/R as I got OHSS so I have 9 frozen. I am just starting my FET cycle now. I cant offer much as advice at the moment but I know there are ladies on this board who have gotten pregnant from FET and Im sure they will be happy to offer advice and hope. I really hope that your little embie is snuggling in and pray you will be posting your BFP very soon. All the best.

Hi Mel,

just reading your story and it seems we have a lot in common.
I had a chem pg in feb(my 1st icsi) and got my fet on the 10th may.
my outcome is the 26th.

never had a fet b4- the waiting is killing me!

ps as you wouldnt have been given a booster this will not affect pg test, really all depends on when the wee one impanted if it will show.

let me know how you get on

xx

Hi Mel!

Good luck to you as begin testing!! I hope you get that beautiful bfp you have been dreaming about!! Just remember if the hpt is not positive over the weekend, it may be a little too early. Try not to let it get you down too much. There may still be a bfp in the making!!! Sending you lots of positive vibes!!!!

Thank you ladies for all the positive vibes. I am feeling very positive about this cycle. I just feel pregnant! I dont know why, but I do. On Friday I had three things happen that made me think they were "signs". I have been on cloud 9 for the last 3 days.

Jam- I have had some symptoms. My breasts are very sore, moreso today even than yesterday. With my fresh cycle they were sore for about 2 days after transfer and then it was gone.. I also think that my areola's are darker and there are some extra bumps sticking up. I have felt bloated the last couple of days. Have a small headache right now. I have also have had some minor twinges. So minor I have wondered if they were just in my head. On the night of transfer I woke up at 3 am with a bad backache, took some tylenol and went back to sleep. When I woke up in the morning it was gone, with no traces. It was weird and something that I had never had happen to me before. I have also had gas the last couple of days. That is what I have had so far. Anymore for you?
