Hello ladies,

I have been taking Lupron 10 units twice a day since Monday and ever since I have been having big time GI distress. I have been having issues, feeling like I have to go nonstop but only expel a little bit at a time. But also feeling very gassy. I am not entirely sure if it is not just my nerves about getting so close to my first IVF cycle. I will be doing E/R and transfer the week of June 2.

Please advise. My husband just laughs at me and says when do you not have GI distress. I seem to always having issues in one way or another but it seems to have increased significantly this week.

I am trying to catch up on the May/June thread....wow there is a lot going on and I am so out of the loop.

Hi Hopeful, Lupron never gave me this sort of issues, maybe its just nerves for you. Try going to accupuncture or some calming teas or something, you will have to take Lupron until trigger day, and that's a bit too long to be feeling so uncomfortable.

Hey Hopeful, I had a feeling you were getting close to your IVF cycle! As for the lupron, well the only side effect I have had is the darn headaches. My NP said those come on b/c the lupron starts to deplete your body of estrogen. But I'm quite sure that each medicine can affect everybody differently. Hope you start feeling better very soon. I'll be thinking of you.
