About 3 months ago I had a sore throat /left ear and was given a course of anti biotics. The sore throat went but I have been suffering ever since with bunged up,mainly left sometimes right as well , ears. The doc said it's glue ear . He could see the mucous just bubbling through when he looked in my ear. I also get a lot of throat clearing especially after eating. Some days I am swallowing mucous nearly all day long. Also some foods cause a sudden attack of irritation /tickling in my throat which nearly chokes me. I was diagnosed 2 years ago with duodenitis and take ppi's to control this. Do you think that I might now have LPR ? I have found using a neti pot helps with the congestion but I think the glue ear will never go away.
