Today, I waited in line for 2 hours to donate blood... When I finally got into the little booth where they ask you health history questions, I decided to tell the nurse that I've just been diagnosed with CIN II and recently had a biopsy. She told me I couldn't give blood. I didn't realize something like this could affect my ability to donate! Why is this?

Tulip, I'm not positive, but I suspect it is because you have an active infection (or the nurse thought you had one from you saying CINII). I don't know, though.
