Hi all, 10 days ago I had carpal tunnel and trigger thumb surgery. I came round very quickly and felt well after the procedure. However I still have numbness at the tip of my thumb. I am due for surgery again on 1st July to have the opposite hand done. ~This time though the trigger finger is my middle one. The carpal tunnel side seems to have been successful, no more tingling, pain, etc etc. But the thumb is strange, as it was not numb before surgery. Anyone out there had the same experience, and can offer advice. Anyone able to offer physio advice specific for the thumb. I already play the piano and type despite the numbness but it feels strange not to feel things on the end of the thumb.;)
