Hi to those who may be post,

I posted yesterday about a uterine cyst, but didn't get any responses, so I thought I would try it this way. Twanger, if I remember correctly, you are several years post. When I had a pelvic ulstrasound this past January, they saw what they called a uterine cyst. The doctor said it was ok, and to let him know if I notice any bleeding. I always thought cysts were on the ovaries, and fibroids were on the uterus. Anyway, Have you (or others) had a uterine cyst or fibroid, or an ovarian cyst since you have been post menopause? I'm just wondering, because I thought fibroids or cysts were more common during the childbearing years...

Any responses will be much appreciated...

Happy Saturday all!

Hi, I was just checking in and saw my name. I don't come here that much anymore. I guess that is a good sign for everyone out there. I used to be here daily for several years. It was the first thing I did in the morning. I needed so much reassurance.

No, I have not heard of what you asked. However, my mother had two cysts removed when she was in her sixties. These were on her ovaries and she had to have a hysto.

I hope that others ( the oldies) can help.

I had 3 fibroids a few years ago when I was going through menopause. It was suggested by one dr I have a hysterectomy. I looked fibroids up on the internet and read they can shrink after menopause so I opted to wait and see. My last scan showed 2 fibroids and they were smaller.
