My 19 year old cousin is a recovering drug user, who just got out of rehab last year. He recently starting using again didn't tell anyone. Today he called me in a panic, and told me that he did an injection in the vein in his penis!! He said he didn't feel any pain, but it started to burn immediately after (i think from the heat of the injection). Then his foreskin around his penis swelled up like a blister balloon. It looks like it is filled with water or something. He lives in a country that you can't exactly just go to the doctor and ask and be honest (he lives in the Middle East), so he is so scared what he should do. I have no idea, because I'm a girl and I don't if swollen foreskin is as normal as women have swelling in their vaginal area. I really want to help him though. Is this life threatening? He says it doesn't hurt at all...but the bubble is making him nervous. Will the swelling go down? Should he take some anti biotics to prevent an infection?:(
