I am wondering exactly where all sciatica pain may show itself. I'm pretty sure I'm dealing with it; pain in my back, about belt level, the back of my thigh, behind my knee, sometimes in my foot and sometimes, my foot will just suddenly feel like it's falling asleep. And, other times, my foot feels like it's been cold and I've suddenly put it in hot water, (hope that's an accurate description!) But, I also have had some pain in the front of my thigh and, less frequently, my shin. Can that also be from sciatica?

Hi there! I have had Siatica pain and trouble and went through 10 weeks of physical therapy for it. The pain can start in your glute (in the middle of your bottom) the pain can shoot around to the front and then go down your leg in the back or along the side of the leg. I had a burning sensation along the edge of my calf..then I had tingling and numbing sensation in my feet and toes. That is kind of the pattern. At least it was for me. You might want to get it check out. There are exercises they give you that can really help. Good luck!
