Hi Newbie here, I have just received MRI results, will not bore you with all of the report, but soem of the issues underlined are:L1- 2 A prominent annular disk bulge at this level is predominantly the culprit for moderate central stenosis.
L2-3 unremarkable
L3-4 diskigenic degenerative changes result in loss of disk space height and dislocation of the intervertabrel disk There is a shallow anlar disk bulge at this level.
L5-S1There is a broad based left lateral disk protusion or herniation at this level that appears to encroach on the left nueral foraman and likel;y affects the exiting left L5 nerve root.
Can anyone tellme if this is mild, moderate?? Not a big deal or how severe. Thank you!!

I cant really say how much of a problem it is but it needs watching at least. the bulge at L5-S1 is very close to hitting the nerve.

at the very least you should avoid anything that strains your back like heavy lifting and such.

is it causing any pain?

Have you tried Physical Therapy recently and have you had any spinal injections to see if they bring you any relief?
