when you are in early pregnacy your cervice has alot more blood flow so it may be swollen feeling. You can't go tell if your pregnant by your cp. If you think you are stop checking cp because it's not good to do during pregnacy unless your really clean your hands good and dr's still say don't do it.. but if your like me I checked mine corousity just to see and at 17 1/2 weeks mine is really wet soft. But it does change during pregnacy some days it's high and the next low. If you think you are get a blood test. I don't know how it is at your dr office but mine want check unless your atleast 2 weeks late.

During your period, the cervix is low, firm, and slightly open. It gradually gets higher as you get closer to ovulation. Around ovulation, it is high and soft. Over ovulation is slightly lowers. If you are pregnant, it will rise again and stay high.

Tami is correct in that cervical position alone is not a good indicator of pregnancy. Every woman is different.
