I have essential tremmors. Though I am only 42 they can get quite sever making it hard to hold a cup or dial a phone. Some days are better than others and some are really bad.
So recently I was having a bad day, but I also had infection on my heal so I started soaking in Epson salt. The next day I noticed an improvement and figured I was having a good day. That night I soaked again and the next day the improvement was even better. I also felt calmer.
So my foot heals after a week of soaks and I stop. Three days latter the tremmors are back in full force. That night I soak and the next day they get better. I am not insane.
My tremmors are better than they have been in months, though my wife is shaking her head that I soak my feet every night.
Am I insane or does epson salt does more than pull infection?

Not weird at all, low magnesium can cause tremors, magnesium is major component of Epsom Salts, so by soaking them in it your absorbing the magnesium through your skin, so to get that affect on your body you could be just low in magnesium.
In supplement form, Magnesium lactate is the best type to buy, i would not waste my money on Magneisum oxide though.
If you have any kidney problems you must be a bit careful of to much magnesium, it should be monitored by your doc, but otherwise in normal people taking to much magnesium will normaly will just give the person diarrhea.
good luck
