I recently posted a thread:
http://www.healthboards.com/boards/showthread.php?t=602331
Regarding my continued pain since my Fusion C5-C7. The good news that I received from Doctor (via the MRI) was the fusion looked stable. The bad news is there now appears to be issues with C4. Which my surgeon commented can happen, he was a little surprised that the degeneration was happening so quick with sufficient bulge at that level.
He commented that the next step would be ADR at the C4 level. He said thus far he's had GREAT success with Disc Replacement procedures. The would go in and remove the instrumentation C5-C7 and replace the Disc at the C4 level.
My situation isn't so bad that that immediate surgery is necessary and my surgeon did comment that we could treat conservatively. At this point, I really can't imagine ANOTHER surgery (the Fusion was just in July, 07), and I really feel like I'm just now getting a lot of my strength back (I also have Systemic Lupus). So, at this point I'm just looking at managing the pain, very light PT and hoping my situation doesn't get any worse.
I would appreciate that could share their experiences with ADR.
Thanks, in advance.

Fiona,
I too have read many success stories about the ADR's. I wish they did then here in the US at multiple levels.
I have posted before about ADR's to see if people will respond so I hope that someone will respond that has had one.
On another board that I go to a gal just posted about her experience with her ADR surgery. She had two levels done and I believe she lives in the UK. She said she is 7 weeks post op and feeling pretty good.
I hope if we need to go down that road that the both of us will have a good outcome

My husband is having C5-6 & C6-7 ADR with the Prodisc-C on July 3rd. It has been very hard to find a lot of information since it was so recently approved. I would try to see if there is a surgeon in your area that is doing multi level Prodisc-C. I hope this helps.
