I am new to this board. I have 2 boys, and have been TTC#3 for 19 months now. I had my blood draw taken on day 3 and 21, and everything looks great..:). Hubby has yet to drop a sample off to the lab. So, I went ahead and made another appt. with my doctor. We had talked about trying clomid if I was still not pregnant in a few months (I saw her last in March). Will she still prescribe it for me if hubby is not willing to give a sample? He feels everything is fine, and he does not need to be tested, just like a man..lol.

I've never been on clomid, but my OB was about to prescribe it to me back in '06 when I was having irregular periods and we had been trying for 8 months at the time. But, she wanted to get him tested first and that's when we found out he had count and motility issues and we were referred to a urologist and then an RE after that. So, I never went on Clomid. After meeting the RE, we went straight to IVF which gave me my daughter who turned 13 months yesterday. I am here on this board, now struggling through trying for baby #2, but only for 5 cycles naturally for right now.
I was just wondering how long it took you the 1st 2 times to have kids? Maybe there's nothing wrong with your husband or you but I guess our bodies can change over time. I once knew a woman who after getting married, she was pregnant right away without even trying. But, when it came to her 2nd, she never got pg! She timed it right for a couple of years, and then stopped trying and let nature take it's course. 12 years later of unprotected sex and still no baby. She never went and did anything more as far as going to the doctor about it because she felt that it was nature's way even though she desperately wanted another baby. That wouldn't have been me, but just felt the need to write that story for some reason. It popped into my head as I read yours. My mother always told me, if it's meant to be, it will be. She passed during that last IVF cycle before I found out I was pg, so her words mean alot to me...since that's all I have left.
Good luck to you!!
