I would like to know if these symptoms are unheard of, unusual, pretty normal or common.

For 6 weeks, beginning with outbreak#1 (total 2 in 6 weeks), until I started mega-dose of acyclovir:

--Constant to frequent stabbing pains in buttocks and pubic area
--Constant nerve zaps and tingles in buttocks, pubic area and legs.
--Constant ache in left hip and sacrum
--Tingling in left heel
--One major nocturnal episode of extreme pelvic pain and pressure that lasted about 10 hours, accompanied by 'prodromal' symptoms but no visible OB.
--syptoms escalate almost IMMEDIATELY following stressful situations, but seldom result in visible OB

The acyclovir is working great but I can tell if I forget to take one.

I need to know if this is unusal. It has been very debilitating and scary.

I wonder if I have it on my internal organs. Other possibilities? Doctor is worthless. Told me that there are worse things to have. Thanks, Doc.

hey Mutz~~

These all seem to be completely normal, and yes, scary. When I was first diagnosed 6mos. ago, I had no visible symptoms, just a lot of what you describe. This has been continuous since then, though symptoms change off and on. And no you don't have it on your internal organs!! It only surfaces on the skin and hides in the same spot. Don't make it worse than it is...and just stay hopeful that we all will get over this and beat this soon. I keep saying this, but seriously--I will not let this affect me forever!

Your symptoms are not unusual...how long have you had this anyway??

Hi Sadgirl,

I have only had this since April 12.

But....I found out that you can indeed have herpes on your ovaries, uterus, etc. It is unusual but happens.

I have no idea how they figure it out.

I got this info from a UC Davis website on herpes:
http://wellness.ucdavis.edu/medical_conditions_az/herpessimplex52.html

Are you on antivirals, Sad?

Mutz

I had no idea about the internal herpes!?!?!!

Well, I don't know about you but I'm not going to worry about what I can't see. And to answer your question, yes I am on Valtrex 1gr daily--along with OLE, OOO, and LOTS of other supplements. Nothing stops all the symptoms yet! It does help though, definately. I'm going to make my body be a very bad place to live for this little virus, and maybe it will take the hint and leave me alone! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hey Mutz,
Some information we could definetly do without! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wink.gif
Has this internal herpe been proving and how , I wonder. How could someone see internal herpes. Don't always believe everything you read, I think some of this stuff is created to scare people so they could keep poppin those pills( gotta feed the millionares who make money off us ) just keep taking the natural stuff. Oil of oregano is growing on me!, isen't that scary, lol.
