View Full Version : Pulsating Swollen Gland

Last week, I felt like I was starting to get a little sick - had a sore throat and swollen glands. I started taking some vitamin c and goldenseal pills, along with some OTC flu medication and the symptoms disappeared within a few days.

This week, a gland on the right side of my neck has gotten increasingly swollen. I don't have any other symptoms whatsoever. The gland is hard and painful and has been pulsating. It hurts when I touch it or turn my neck, and also when I sneeze. If I press on it, I can visibly see it pulsating in the mirror.

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, but I have absolutely no clue what this could be. I've had swollen glands before (even just last week!) but have never experienced anything like this before.

Any ideas??
