I have been having genital OBs on an average of every 6 weeks for a year now. The person who gave me the herpes has NOT had an out break since the 2 years we have been intimate. Why is that? He is the only person I had been with, so there is no question that it came from him. He talked about having sores when he was younger and getting them more often, but it has been about 7 years since he has experienced the sores. Why am I getting OBs and he is not?? I am confused. The other day when I told him I thought I felt an OB comming, he had the nerve to ask why I get them and he doesn't......making me feel like I am the only one that has herpes and maybe he doesn't. aaarrrrgggg I was bugged, but got over it http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

I have the same thing going on here. I know i got it for my boyfriend but he NEVER get OBs. I am glad he doesnt get them, but a part of me is mad about it. Why do i have to suffer and he never has a problem. He gave me this and he never has to deal with it. Ugg...it is just frusterating, butlike i said, at the same time i am happy that he never has them. So, you are not alone, it sucks, but we will get through it!!

SunFun, I've only had maybe 3 OBs since I got it many years ago. These were times I was very stressed out. Many things can play a factor in OBs...stress, anxiety, medication, weak immune system. Maybe you should look into one of these!!

Let me just add hormone changes can play a really big part in OBs. Many females will get them right before their cycle or after.
