Well finally I'm excited today because after 3 days of faint OPK lines, I had a dark +ve one...whoo hoo! My question is are there many people on this forum who got their BFP after using these OPK tests?

Previously we've just BD randomly 'around' the time we thought I'd O, but with my cycle not being exactly regular it was hard to tell.

This is the first month we've used them properly, and I've been charting my temps, checking my CM, visualising all that's hopefully going on in there:D, had acupuncture, been taking supplements, and had an HCG which showed both tubes working. My DH had a low sperm count, although it improved on the 2nd test, but still below the average.

Inspite of the OPK results being -ve the last 3 days (faint line), we've BD every day, and are joking that there's a party in there right now...team 1 is on their way out, team 2's hanging around and team 3's still enroute!

Airline, I think if you've detected the surge you can feel pretty comfortable about the timing being right! Sounds like you and DH have a great headstart on this cycle ;) I say keep it up... I think you've got a darn good chance of BFP this cycle!!! Good luck!!!

Airline, I always found OPKs tricky and they never showed up +ve for me ever (although temping always confirmed O), so I've no insight to offer you (also have never had a BFP)... but just wanted to say go for it :) if the OPK shows +ve then it should be around the right time!!!... hoping that this is your month  good luck and baby dust!

thanks girls. Very  this morning. I work shifts for an airline, as does my DH. He was off yesterday, I was working my usual shift 7pm - 1.30am...except we've been getting away sharp most shifts recently at 12.30am,.....because of this, we decided to allow me a nanna nap in afternoon while DH took our furbaby out for a walk, instead of BDing...said we'd do it when I came home, so we didn't feel rushed ;)

Gutted when I walked into work, and discovered flight late and I didn't leave till 3.30am. Wouldn't have bothered me too much before, extra money and I'm on days off now, but all I could think about was that tiny window we're trying to make............

I had a bad 6 hours sleep, interrupted at 7.30 with my chart temp.ing alarm, and now I"m getting ready for my parents coming for lunch while DH goes for acupuncture. Which means there's no opportunity till they go home....

Of all the days............anyway, it's our 2nd year anniversary tomorrow, we're going away for the night, and we have 3 days off together..(which is a rarity!) sorry for the rant, just feel so frustrated, when we thought we'd managed to plan it right this month. Maybe Team 4 and even Team 5 will have a shot at winning gold this month:D

Hi Airline,

Try not to get discouraged. It's not necessary to BD every single day. Even w/ the missed BD session, you & DH have plenty of swimmers ready to catch that egg. The break in between the BD sessions may even help his swimmers replenish in between. Good luck & enjoy your anniversary getaway!

Thanks Holly, had a much better day, after I'd ranted on here! It's like a venting wall and very carthartic :D

Think you're right about resting being helpful, plus I had my first thermal shift increase this morning, so maybe that's an indication I've Od, so we have 4 'teams' in the running, plus there are some subs on the bench that no doubt will go for gold tonight:D

Hope all going well for you right now
