Hi everyone,

I am not 100% sure when I ovulated this month, although I think it was last Sunday (so today would be 8dpo). My period is due on May 31, so I am just less than a week away, and yesterday almost all day, I experienced period-like cramping. Any idea of what it could've been? I always get my period on day 27, like clockwork, so I really don't think it's an early period coming. When I get pregnant (hopefully this is my month!), it will be my 3rd pregnancy (I have one ds, who just turned a year, and the last pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 7 weeks), and I don't recall feeling any cramping besides when my period was due, with both pregnancies (and obviously miscarriage cramping, with my second one).
Can anybody offer me some insight?

Maybe the cramping has something to do with implantation? You never know....good luck to you! Keep us updated!!

Thanks for the reply! I hope you're right. The cramps have continued off and on for 3 days now, so I'm hoping that's a good sign! With my son I distinctly remember feeling as if I was getting my period, exactly, for a couple days. Like, tender "nether-regions", cramps, etc. but that was more when my period was due. I'm not due for another 5 days, but I'm still hoping maybe that's what this is!
I know I will be REALLY paranoid if I get a BFP however, because of the miscarriage, which I'm sure is how anybody who's had a miscarriage feels. But anyways, I'll worry about that when the time comes.

AF and pregnancy symptoms are so similar to each other, so I'd say you have a really good shot at a BFP this month! (Especially if those symptoms are not normal for your AF).

As for the miscarriage, I have no idea what you are going through because I have never been pregnant. I know you will always be worried, but you have to remember that it is a different pregnancy....the circumstances are different.

Good luck!

I'm hoping so! Today I woke up feeling like there's a chance I definitely could be pregnant. But I'm really just trying to think I'm not, so I am not too terribly dissapointed if AF shows up. This wouldn't be the first time I thought I could be pregnant, claiming to myself that I have so many symptoms, and then only to get a bfn or see that awful AF..... Anyways, I will keep you updated either way!
