must be time for me to try this :)

I got all mine frozen off (after 2 treatments) about 4 months ago. There were 4 on the shaft of my member itself, and 4 around my penis (pubic hair area). The ones on the penis itself have been clear ever since. Now i have around 6 in my pubic hair region. I am going to try the "poping" and drowning in alcohol solution and see how that works.

Wish me luck i will keep everyone updated.

I have had MC for about 6 months now and I have no clue as to how I got them. I have tried everything to make them go away...Condylox (which works about 75% of the time but it takes a long time to work. It also causes scarring that takes even longer to go away and can become painful and irritating), Tea Tree Oil (which did nothing for my MC, but it is a good antiseptic and will heal cuts very fast.) Urine (haven't had much luck with that but then again I didn't feel like using it everyday, kinda gross!), Apple Cider Vinegar (no help at all) and Salicylic Acid (which is great for zits but doesn't have much effect when putting it on MC unless it is kept on overnite. I put some on a piece of cotton and placed it tightly over the MC overnite and when I woke up the next morning the area was black. It had destroyed the skin and the MC. Quite painful though!). The only thing that I have found effective is cutting the MC off. Molluscum is a virus that lives on the skin. If you remove the molluscum then it will not come back because the virus is no longer there. The only was for it to return is if the area is infected by another MC wart. What I do is clean the area with rubbing alcohol. Then I take fingernail clippers or something similar and then cut the MC off at the base. I then drown the opening in rubbing alcohol, salicylic acid and tea tree oil to help heal it. I then apply new skin liquid bandage. I have removed a few so far and they have not returned! I only have 3 left and I am going to do the same with them as well.:)

Does Molluscum cause scarring? I have tried squeezing the cores out of a few of them and am realizing I'm left with reddish areas. It's only been a month but will that go away. Does anyone know?
