Hi. I just found this board after becoming very frustrated with the weird symptoms I have been having.

Okay right to the point ... I have this weird feeling in my mouth/chest/stomach/throat ... it is tingling, bad taste, humming, cool (as in the sensation). I can feel it a bit in my tummy and also my throat. It is so hard to describe ... almost as though I inhaled or ate alot of mint ... that kind of cool feeling. But also with that comes the tingling, humming kind of feeling. I have some indigestion, some gas, some dizzines but I do not know if that is related. I have had this before but it seemed to go away with a mild meal ... this time however it has stayed and is much much worse.

Any ideas? I have suffered from anxiety attacks in the past (though I have not had one for the last 6 months) so I hesitate to go to the doctor ... they always say it is just anxiety and try to give me meds (which I hate). I am not currently under any real stress and feel pretty good emotionally so...

Any suggestions where I might find an answer? any answers?

Thanks so much!

HI Ironmom! Sorry that no one has had an answer or suggestion for you so far. This is kind of new to me too with the mint sensation. I kind of think it could be nerves or anxiety. Believe me! I am dealing with stuff like this too. I am headed to my allergist this afternoon. I feel like my throat is all tight and swollen. It has been like that for a couple of days. I have tingling in my jaw and by my ears. It feels like I could have full sinus's again. It brings on anxiety. I just had an allergic reaction to Imodium AD last week and had to get a steroid shot. No wonder panic sets in.

With you....as long as you can breathing and nothing is closing up too tight. I would just get it checked out. But that daw gone stress does a number on us. It brings on anxiety and that gives me tingles, muscle twitches, out of reality sensations and dizziness. I know I am not imagining it and neithor are you. It sounds like something might be irritated with you in those area's. I would say get it checked out by the doc. Sorry I can't say I have had that exact feeling but some feelings are similiar. Good luck! Let us know how you are!:angel:

thanks for the reply!:) I went to the doctor and he said sinus problems are probably the cause or, go figure, anxiety.
