she only eats snacks.....she drinks alot though which fills her up. is this common? i was told by some other moms to just slow down on the liquids and when she's hungry she'll eat....she's a very picky eater to begin with and now not eating what i give her on a regular basis is so worrisome and frustrating.

I think this is pretty common. A lot of "toddlers" are just used to drinking to get what they need.

I found it best to serve my daughter the food first and let her pick at what she wanted. After eating then I would give her the drink. Once she got use to knowing she had to eat first it got better.

Of course, now that she is almost 2 she has turned into a very picky eater. I'm lucky though because at least she loves her fruits and vegies.
