Hi, i was wondering if anybody could help me out, well actually my boyfriend, my boyfriend has been complaining about pain in his testicles for a while but refuses to do to the doctor, he is 21 and has had this pain for probably 1yr. it has gotten a bit worse now. He says he feels like his testicles are campring up, and feels like shocks. He also says he feels like if one of his testicles moves up (dont know what that means, but is always telling me that) especially when he does heavy lifting. He also feels tenderness around the groin area. I thought at first it might be a hernia but im not really sure, can anybody give me sum advice on what this might be.

Could be nothing, could be a hernia, could be cancer. Doctor time!

The only reason not to go is ego, which guys think is a sufficient reason. I think you have to say you are worried about him and its probably nothing but if its serious its best to catch anything early.

 Maybe you can fool them into going, by asking them to go for just a regular physical exam! When the doctor exams their testicles, he will discover that there is a problem. This will also give them a chance/open up a door of conversation to tell the doc there is a problem. :D
So, try and persuade them just to go in for a regular exam. :o
I can understand, not wanting to talk about your private parts, but there comes a time in every mans life that we must!
If that doesn't work, pain and suffering always does..:(
