Hi. I am the wife of someone who was diagnosed with low T. My husband is almost 40 and had an accident on Father's Day last year and severly injured his testicles. His sex drive has went down this past year and he finally went back to the Urologist. He diganosed him with Low T and put him on Androgel. The first month he did not have much success. Now he told him to use 2 packets one day and one the next. That was one week ago, no real success.
I do not know what his levels are or what has been tested yet. All I know if that his T level went down after being on the Androgel.
This has been very difficult for him as well as I. My husband was the type of person with a high drive and always wanted sex.
What is the next step? He has a Urologist he sees, but I don't think he specializes in Low T. We have the #2 Urology program at The Cleveland Clinic, so I am looking to gettting anotehr opinion there.
Also, his drive has significantly got lower these past few months, not directly after the accident. Maybe we are assuming the Low T is from the accident and maybe it's something else?????
Any help and or advice would be appreciated!!!
Thanks!
